President Vernard Alsberry, Jr. and MYTT (Mentoring Youth Through Technology) President Randle Carter received a $18,000 check from Comcast to continue the outstanding work of the STEAM Program.
The Village offered an eight-week after school STEAM program that focused on Science, Technology-Engineering-Art-and Math. The second session starts January 29, 2018.
The dynamic program exposed our students to the various components of robotics and coding, as well as critical thinking, communication, problem solving and information literacy. Students learned how technology works and plays a key role in today’s world.
